"Ammonotelic animals are those animals which excrete ammonia.
Example: Fishes and frogs.
Ammonia is produced as an after-effect of protein metabolism.
When in concentrated forms, it is highly toxic for the body as it alters the pH levels.
So, it has to be extremely diluted in the body.
This is possible only in aquatic animals as they ingress high quantities of water.
So, these organisms release ammonia as such into the aquatic environment.

PLEASE CHECK THE ANSWERS
Ammonia is the main nitrogenous waste in the animals. A lot of water is required for removal of ammonia. Aquat animals, like fish, frogs, etc. are ammonotelic, i.e., they excretes ammonia that directly dissolves in water.
