What are Anne Frank's reasons for writing a diary?

Anne wants to write a diary as she believed that she had no real & close friend.

She hoped that she would confide her in most feeling & thoughts to the diary.

Thus she hoped to find a friend in the diary.

REASON FOR WRITING A DIARY -

Diary was a gift on her 13th birthday. she considered it her best friend on which she relied the most and with whom she shared all her ups and downs.Anne always feels lonely and distresses so to get off all the burden and pain she wants to keep a diary . she did not have a true friend to confide in. she treats her diary as her best frined. she though " paper have more patient than people. so it was easier for her to write all kind of thoughts which she had in her mind.
