acquired traits are those States which require in our life time for example swimming, playing cricket, football etc
these states are not inherited because they are not present inside our DNA the traits which is present inside our DNA are hair colour the colour of our iris etc.
Inherited traits-
The characters which passes from generation to generation through genes are called inherited traits for example height and eye colours.
Acquired traits-
The character which is not present in the gene and so do not present in an individual but he or she acquires it during his or her life time is called acquired rate for example the muscular body of an athlete.
Bird is it is not present in the gene so there a athlete cannot pass the trait to his offspring.
