Hey friend !!
Archaeological sources are those objects or remains of the past which have survived till now. These are the direct evidences that gives us ideas about the past. Ruins of buildings, tools, coins, pieces of pottery, stones, jewelleries used in the past etc., are all the examples of archaeological sources. The archaeologists excavate these materials, study and analyse them to reconstruct the past.
In India, the first developed cities were found in the valleyof river Indus. So it was named Indus Valley Civilization.
Hope this helps you !!
