what are are reflex action? Give example. Explain reflex arc.

Reflex action is a sudden , involountry,permanent , autonomous action which is not in our control. It gives same result every time. There are two types of reflex action- spinal reflex and cranial reflex. eg. heart beat, hot and cold touch,coughing.

Reflex arc is a pathway through which reflex action happens..
stimulus::[receptor]--------> C.N.S(brain/spinal cord)---------> [effector] :: muscle movement.
