Free, fair, and frequent choices. Citizens may share in similar choices both as choosers and as campaigners( though age and hearthstone restrictions may be assessed).

Freedom of expression. Citizens may express themselves intimately on a broad range of politically applicable subjects without fear of discipline( see freedom of speech).

Independent sources of information. There live sources of political information that aren't under the control of the government or any single group and whose right to publish or else circulate information is defended by law; also, all citizens are entitled to seek out and use similar sources of information.

Freedom of association. Citizens have the right to form and share in independent political associations, including parties and interest groups.
