Answer

If p and q are any two statements then the compound statement in the form of "p if and only if q" is called a biconditional statement and is written in symbolic form as p←→q

Statement p←→q reveals following

→p if and only if q

→q if and only if p

→p is necessary and sufficient condition for q

→q is necessary and sufficient condition for p
