we know that Rutherford's model of atom couldn't explain the stability of the atom.thus, neils bohr solved this problem by proposing that electrones can only travel through descrete orbits or energy levels and they do not radiate energy while moving through them.this modified model of atom then came to be known as Bohr's model of atom..
