Seeds are basic and critical input f enhancing agricultural production a productivity.

The seeds which seeds companies sell in t market and our farmers grow are common “certified seeds”. The certification seeds is a legally sanctioned system f quality control of seeds that are used cultivate crops. On this basis, there are five differe categories viz. Nucleus Seeds, Breeder Seeds, Foundation Seeds, Registered See and finally certified seeds. The Offspri of breeder seeds is foundation seeds registered seeds to certified seeds.

Further, each of the breeders, foundatio registered and certified seeds a certified and labelled with a differe colour tag as per Section 5 of the See Act, 1966.
