In biology, Caecilians are also reffered to blindworm. This organism do not have leg. They are worm-like or snake-like bodies. They are the most unusual amphibians in appearance. Their behaviour can be equally strange. They belong to order Gymnophiona.

Caecilians are an order of the class Amphibia of Phylum Chordata.
They are living amphibians and also called as Gymnophiona, Blind worms or Apodans.
They are limbless and their skin is not scaleless unlike the other amphibians.
Skull is dicondylic and vertebrae are mostly, amphicoelous in the Caecilians.
