1.there is a lack of proper policy for the extraction and processing of mineral resources in the country .it also cause damage to the environment .
2.the technology adopted in mining and processing of minerals is old and un obsolete.there is low output and waste is high along with the suscectibility of accident.
3.the spatial distribution of minerals in the country is not uniform in case of availability and supply.
4.proper exploration of minerals resources in the country and their detailed inventory has not been set up .
