simple pictures and symbols made available for computer users to add to their documents.

Difference between linking and embedding

When the files are linked, then a change in the linked file gets updated in the destination file. In the case of embedding, changes in the embedded file do not propagate to the destination file. You need to manually make the changes in the destination file by double-clicking the embedded file.

Clip art is used to create the images related to our document . For example :  if we use clip art to make presentation in powerpoint  . Through clip art it makes really easy to locate pictures about our document on which we are making the slides
