complex numbers:-any number of the form x+iy and i^2 is equal to -1 where x,y belongs to R, is called complex numbers.
in complex number x is known as real part and y is known as imaginary part of the complex number.
when the real number of the complex number is zero then the complex number is said to be imaginary.and if imaginary is zero then the complex number is real.
if the real parts and imaginary parts of two numbers are equal then the complex number s equal to each other. if the two complex numbers are not equal then they are said to be unequal.

Complex number are number which contains both real and imaginery part.
Let z be complex number
then z= x+iy
where x is real part and iy is imaginery part.
i =√(-1)
we have i²=-1
There are many properties of complex number
1. if z = x+iy then z' = x-iy
2. |z| =√(x²+y²) = |z'|=|-z|
3. zz' = |z|²
4. z = z' then z is purely real
5. z+z'= 0 then z is purely imaginery.
