The components in a multimedia system are:-

1) Text:- Text is the most basic component of multimedia. It provide headlines, subtitles, content and so on. The multimedia content we see today is mainly a combination of text and other media types.

2) Graphics:- A graphic is a still photo or picture that is taken with the help of a capturing device like camera. It has two different type of images- Bitmap and vector

3) Audio:-Audio is an important part of multimedia which is a sound file.

4) Video:-Video is formed by combining a series of continuous images. It is a moving picture. It involves recording, showing and creating moving images.

5) Animation:-Animation is basically a technique in which an illusion of movement is created by showing a series of images. It makes still images look realistic. There are 2 common type of animations. They are-2d animation and 3d animation.
