compost___ Compost is organic matter that has been decomposed in a process called composting. This process recycles various organic materials - otherwise regarded as waste products - and produces a soil conditioner. Compost is rich in nutrients.

vermicompost-----Vermicompost is the product of the composting process using various species of worms, and other earthworms, to create a mixture of decomposing vegetable or food waste, bedding materials, and vermicast.

green manure----- green manure is created by leaving uprooted or sown crop parts to wither on a field so that they serve as a mulch and soil amendment. The plants used for green manure are often cover crops grown primarily for this purpose.
