Explanation:  If there are two situation or proportions A and B such that if A is sufficient to find B or A implies B or A \rightarrow B or if A then B then they are called conditional connectives.

For Example: if i say - if bus comes i will go to the market. so there are two proportions p: bus comes q: i will go.

In these two conditions p is called Hypothesis. ( because i am not sure it may come true or not. And, q is called conclusion. (because it is the consequence of my first condition or i can say that my going depends upon bus arriving.)

since it can be shown that these two sentences are connected to each other by a condition. So, they are conditional connectives.

Thus we can write p \rightarrow q where \rightarrow is called conditional operator.

Apart from this, sometimes, both proportions are depended to each other in that condition we say p iff q or p \leftrightarrow q

we also can understand these situations with help of truth table.
