Every Candidate has to make a LEGAL DECLERATION, giving full details of :

- Serious Criminal cases pending against them .

- Details of the assets and liabilities of the candidate and his/her family,

- Educational qualifications of the Candidate.

This information has to be made public. This provides an opportunity to the voters to mark thier decisions on the basis of information given by the candidate.
