I hope help you
It is useful to classify crystal lattice defects by their dimension. The 0- dimensional defects affect isolated sites in the crystal structure, and are hence called point defects. An example is a solute or impurity atom, which alters the crystal pattern at a single point

✔The process of crystallization is used to purify a solid from its impurities.
✔First of all, we take about 5 gram of impure sample of copper sulphate in a China dish.
✔After that, we dissolve it in minimum amount of water then filter the impurities.
✔Saturate the solution by heating that is when some solid starts evaporating.
✔Then we cover the solution with filter paper and leave it undisturbed to cool slowly for a day.
✔Hence, by this process we will obtain the crystals of copper sulphate in a China dish.
