dagh and chehra were the 2 reforms in the army which were introduced by ala-ud-din khalji. dagh were the horses to prevent substitution from the good horses by the inferior ones. and chehra were a full discription for each soldier.
Dagh is the system of branding the horses and Chehra was related to the biometric information about soldiers. • He treated his nobles with an iron hand. He forbade them to marry among each other's families.
