Dark matter is everywhere. As I have heard it is the dark matter which holds the galaxy clusters together.
In a documentary It was said that dark matter is what that forms the fabric of universe.
Dark matter is a theorized form of matter that may account for approximately 80% of the mass-energy of matter in the observable universe, and about a quarter of the observable universe's total mass-energy.
Dark matter was initially called "missing matter" because astronomers could not find it by observing the universe in any part of the electromagnetic spectrum.
since dark matter does not emits light it cannot be seen. hence called dark. we can study and detect its presence by studying galaxy clusters. This is a very interesting topic in astrophysics..,
