1. Delta- A Delta is a landform that forms from deposition of sediment carried by a river as the flow leaves its mouth and enters slower-moving or standing water.
2. Lagoon-A lagoon is a shallow body of water separated from a larger body of water by barrier islands or reefs. Lagoons are commonly divided into coastal lagoons and atoll lagoons.
3. Estuary-An estuary is a partially enclosed coastal body of brackish water with one or more rivers or streams flowing into it, and with a free connection to the open sea.
4. Tributary-A tributary or affluent is a stream or river that flows into a larger stream or main stem (or parent) river or a lake.
