Answer:

Derived quantities are those which depend on the fundamental quantities or which can be expressed in terms of the fundamental quantities.eg.Area,Volume,Force,etc.

The units of quantities other than those measured in fundamental units, can be expressed in terms of the fundamental units and they are called the Derived units.IN OTHER WORDS,THEY ARE THE UNITS WHICH DEPEND UPON THE FUNDAMENTAL UNITS OR WHICH CAN BE EXPRESSED IN TERMS OF THE FUNDAMENTAL UNITS. eg.metre×metro,newton,etc.
