♣ARC

✍️The arc of a circle is a portion of the circumference of a circle.

♣ FORMULA FOR ARC

✍️ If l denotes the length of arc,

r denotes the radius of the corresponding circle,

and

∆ denotes the angle subtended by the arc at centre,

then,

l = ∆r

♣ MAJOR ARC

✍️The arc of a circle having measure of the angle formed at centre equal to or greater than 180° or π radians.

♣MINOR ARC

✍️ The arc of a corcle having measure of the angle formed at centre less than 180° or π radians.
