Parthenogenesis is the phenomenon of development of new organisms from female gametes ,with out fertilization ( fusion of male and female gametes)
eg:Honey bee
Parathanocarpy is the phenomenon of formation of fruit from any part of the ovule with out fertilization.
eg:cashew nut ,apple etc

What is parthenogenesis?
It is the process of formation of embryo from unfertilized egg is called parthenogenesis. In this type of process haploid egg cell of female gametophyte is accountable for forming a haploid embryo without fertilization.
What is parthenocarpy?
It is the process of forming of fruit from unfertilized ovary is called as pathenocarpy. In some Angiosperms we see that fruit is formed from the ovary without fertilization which is termed as parthenocarpic fruit. Also in some fruits parthenocarpy is useless if in that edible part is endosperm or seed best example of this is pomegranate (Punica
granatum).
