Vedas are the utterances of Rishis in a state of trance. By saying so, we mean The Vedas were not composed like other poetry like say Ramayana. According to The Vedas, The Word is permanently available in the cosmos as parA-vAk. Whoever is able to access this parA-vAk and be able to bring it forth for the rest of us is a Rishi. RiShir darshanAt. We hear sounds that are made in the medium called Air. The RiShis were those who could “see” the sounds. Here “see” is used not in the of I see a chair, through the sense of sight. But about the clarity afforded by the sense of sight to the person. Thus when a RiShi “heard” a mantra he actually “saw” it for it was intended. This is the reason why a Ri Shi is always declared and recognized by another.
The Vedas were an undivided huge corpus of literature which was classified based on their content, purpose, and intonation. The Vedas were supposed to be kept in Oral Transmission only. The RiShi who classified them was Krishna DwaipAyana Vyasa. plzz mark me brainliest
