This particular effect of interaction of the two drugs would be different from the effects produced by the drugs when used individually. Drug interactions may be the result of various processes.
Drug interactions are usually divided into four groups: antagonism, synergism, potentiation, and interaction with metabolism. Antagonism means that one drug reduces or blocks the effect of another.
