• Change in the position of objects = The position of an object can be changed by applying a force to it . For example we can pick up something and keep it in another place by applying a force to it.Similarly when a football is kicked , there is a change in its position.

• Change in the speed of body = The speed of a moving body can be increased or decreased by the application of force. For example ,a swing moves faster when a person gives it a push.

• Change in the direction of a moving body = A moving body can change its direction of motion if a force is applied to it .For example,a player applies a force on the ball with a hockey stick to change its direction.

• Change in the shape and size of a body = Whenever we press or stretch a spring, we observe a change in its shape and size.For example , While making a chapati, the shape and size of the ball of dough is changed with the help of a rolling pin.
