Answer ⇒  Electrical energy = Electrical power × time.

Explanation ⇒

Using the formula,

Work done = qΔV

Applying Ohm's law,

ΔV = iR

∴ W = qiR

∴ W = i²Rt  [∵ q = it.] ------(1)

This is the formula for electrical energy.

Now, Power = V × i

∴ Power = iR × i  [By Ohm's law.]

∴ Power = i²R   -----(2).

Now, since we want to find relation between them,thus, putting (2). into (1)., we get,

W = P × t

∴ Electrical energy = Electrical power × time.

Hope it helps.

Answer:

  • Electric power is the rate, per unit time, at which electrical energy is transferred by an electric circuit.

  • The SI unit of power is the watt, one joule per Elevtric power is usually produced by electric generators, but can also be supplied by sources such as electric batteries.
