What are electron deficient compounds? Are Bcl3 & Sicl4 electron deficient species? Explain

electron deficient species are back and molecule that have vacant p or D orbital in the central metal atom as vacant P orbital is present in Bcl3 it is electron deficient species but Sicl3 doesnt have any vacant molecular orbital it is not electron deficient species
