Eg. H(+), etc...

Nucleophiles are the electron - excess species and the need to share electrons to be stable...
Eg OH(-)

electrophiles

an atom which is deficient of electrons. example all lewis acids are neutral electrophiles like BF3

nucleophiles

an atom having excess of electrons.

example all lewis bases are nucleophiles like H2O
