Biocatalysis can be defined as the use of natural substances to speed up (or catalyze) chemical reactions. The natural substances of which I speak can be one or more enzymes or cells. An enzyme is simply a protein catalyst, and enzymes have many important uses.

Hi mate

Here's the answer

Enzymes are called Bio - Catalysts of human body. This is because enzymes help in the faster digestion and reaction of food with other digestive juices. Hence they are called bio - catalysts. Catalyst is called as a substance which fastens the reaction between particles.

Hope my answer helped

Have a good day :-)
