HI!

Enzymes are biological molecules (typically proteins) that significantly speed up the rate of virtually all of the chemical reactions that take place within cells. They are vital for life and serve a wide range of important functions in the body, such as aiding in digestion and metabolism.

EG:

Lipase: They are found in most living organisms and perform essential roles in the digestion, transport, and processing of dietary lipids, fats, oils, etc.

Amylase: They are enzymes that helps change starches into sugars.

Enzymes are biological catalyst that speed up a chemical reaction .

Enzymes are protein in nature ,

They just decrease activation energy of a reaction and are not used themself in a reaction .

\huge\blue{Factor  affecting enzyme :-}

Activity of enzyme is affect by :-

1▪ PH (optimum PH for most enzymes is 7 _ 8 )

2▪Temperature (optimum temperature for mammalian enzyme is about 40°C) .At 0°C enzyme becomes deactivated .

Pepsine (PH range 2 )

Trypsin (PH about 7_8 )
