Enzymes are the biological catalysts which help in the digestion of food .....some examples of digestive enzymes are amylase, pepsin, trypsin etc....salivary amylase helps the food to become more soft and helps us digested...!

enzymes are bio catalysts that alter the rate of the catabolic reactions and anabolic reactions in our body!

The two digestive enzymes in our body are
Salivary Amylase
It is present in our saliva and helps in breaking down starch present in our food into simple sugars maltose.That is why if you chew bread for very long time it'll taste sweet

Pepsin
it is present in our stomach and is secreted by the gastric gland.It helps in breaking down proteins into protons and peptides and it requires acidic medium to work properly.
