Hii Friend!!
An endothermic reaction occurs when energy is absorbed from the surroundings in the form of heat. Conversely, an exothermic reaction is one in which energy is released from the system into the surroundings. The terms are commonly used in the physical sciences and chemistry.
Examples of endothermic reaction are:
Melting ice, photosynthesis, evaporation, cooking an egg, splitting a gas molecule.
Examples of exothermic reaction are :
Explosions , Making ice, rusting iron, concrete settling, chemical bonds, nuclear fission and fusion.
Hope this helps u...

Hello Dost ☺
Answer :
Exothermic reaction and endothermic reaction:
On the basis of energy changes during chemical reaction, they can be classified as
i) Exothermic reaction: A chemical reaction in which heat energy is produced.
Eg : C + O2 → CO2 (g) + heat
ii) Endothermic reaction: A chemical reaction in which heat energy is absorbed.
Eg : CaCO3 + Heat → CaO + CO2
Thanks ☺
