Fermion! a subatomic particle, such as a nucleon, which has half-integral spin and follows the statistical description given by Fermi and Dirac.

Boson! a subatomic particle, such as a photon, which has zero or integral spin and follows the statistical description given by S. N. Bose and Einstein.

Buoyancy! the ability or tendency of something to float in water or other fluid.
