A finite verb is one which changes it's form with a change in the subject or tense.
ex- we play cricket every day.
Rohan and I played cricket for a long time this morning.
A non finite verb does not change its form with a change in the subject or tense.
Non finite verbs can be: (a) Infinitives (b) participles (present and past) (c) Gerunds
eg-We love to play cricket every day.
My friends love playing.
Participles:(1) present participles: present participles always end in '- ing'
(2)Past participles: past participles end with - 'ed or en'
(3)Gerunds: Gerunds always end in -'ing'
