fusion:

✯  it is a type of nuclear reaction in which two nuclei combine together to form a single heavy nucleus. 

✯  this reaction requires extremely high temperature and pressure,

✯  these type of conditions are found in stars and sun.

✯ so we see that they never stop shining! as the energy keeps on being generated continuously.
