basically forest resources are those resources which are generally obtained from forest ..
example ;-
COAL
MINERALS 
etc.
 they have their impact on national economy , 
such as if we take example of ...coal..so they helps in the process of forming cement , steel etc.
and as we know the industries like steel ..are the back bone of the national economy , being aware of the fact that ..without coal ..steel and cement cannot be formed ..hence forest resources have their own way of showing their importance .

1.
tree
Tree is an important part of forest. It's economic significance is that tree provide wood which is used to make furniture and sell in the market.

2.
fruits
The economic significance of fruit is that large companies who are the manufacturer of fruit drinks such as Tropicana purchase a huge amount of fruits for making their drinks. The person selling the fruits can get a huge amount of money as demanded.

rubber
The economic significance of rubber is that it is used to make various type of things like eraser, tyre, tubes etc which are used in our day to day life. They in turn provide good economic growth.

gum
Gum is manufactured by the helps of a substance present in the tree. The economic significance is that people use gum almost in everything in their day to day life. When the amount of purchase will be more, automatically economy will increase.

5.
honey
The economic significance of honey is that it is used by most of the sugar patients and by normal people also to reduce their weight, make sweets etc whose large purchase helps in increasing economy.
