A large area of land where trees and other plants grow naturally is known as forest.
Fire uses of forest are written as follows:-

1)They provide us with timber for making furniture. Forest provide us with fruits, food, fibre and fuel.

2) Forests release oxygen that we breathe and absorb carbon dioxide.

3) The roots of trees and plants bind the soil and help to reduce soil erosion. In this way, they maintain the balance between oxygen and carbon dioxide in the environment.

4) Decayed leaves of plants provide humus to the soil and increase its fertility.

5) They play an important role in controlling humidity, temperature and precipitation.
