Answer:

There is a need to use fossil fuels like coal and petroleum judiciously because they are formed from the remains of biomass buried in the soil millions of years ago. It is the continuous pressure, heat and time which convert the organic matter into coal and petroleum.

Answer: Fissile fuels are formed naturally from the decayed dead plants and animals decomposed for more than millions of years ago.

Coal is formed in the earth crust millions of years ago through dead plant matter. When they get exposed to heat and pressure they form peat and turns to coal.

Petroleum is also formed through the fossil fuel; it is in liquid form naturally occurred in the earth crust millions of years ago. Fossil fuels are obtained as crude oil and are then refined to obtain things like petrol etc.

Since all these are formed millions of years ago and also take millions of years to get generated we have to use them judiciously.
