Well in case any fraction has the denominator 1 , like- 5/1, 9/1 etc. Then the fraction gets simplified further as-

for example: 5/1

= 5X1/1

= 5.

Such a fraction, give us natural numbers.

However,An improper fraction is always 1 or greater than 1. Hence, such fraction with denominator 1can be said Improper fraction.
