Sir Isaac Newton was the first one to give a exact definition for force,
Force is an external agency applied by a body to change it state of rest or uniform motion by performing a force.

There are 4 types of fundamental forces in our nature.

They are;

(i) Gravitational force.

(ii) Electromagnetic force.

(iii) Strong nuclear force.

(iv) Weak nuclear force.
