The Great Circle is an imaginary circle on the surface of the earth which divides the earth into 2 equal hemisphere and it's center always coincides with the center of the earth.There are 181 great circles which are either latitudes or longitudes , but otherwise there are infinite.
Eg: Equator , Prime Meridian and International Date Line taken together.etc..
