Homologous organs are the organs which have similar origin, i.e, they have similar structures(internally) but different functions.
For example, let's take the wings of a bat ad flippers of a whale. While wings are used for flying, flippers are used for swimming. They are dissimilar externally. But the origin is same and the internal structural plan is similar.
Eg: Forelimbs of man, horse, lizard, frog, flippers of whale, etc.
