Indicators are those which tell us whether the substance is acidic ,basic or neutral. examples are turmeric,red cabbage etc.

INDICATORS:-

  • An indicator is a substance that changes its colour in acidic and basic medium.
  • An indicator shows different colours in both acidic and basic medium.

NATURAL INDICATORS (EXAMPLES):-

  • Turmeric
  • Red cabbage
  • Methyl orange
  • Phenophthalein.
