An Indigenous species is native to a given region or ecosystem if its presencein that region is the result of only natural process, with no human intervention.

E.g.   Carp, Eel

Endemic Species:-

Endemic Species are those plants and animals that exist only in one geographical region.

E.g.  Asiatic Lion, Sangai deer
