Insulators of heat are substances which do not allow heat to pass through them .

Insulators of electricity are substances which do not allow electric current to pass through them .

\underline{\texttt{More info :}}

→ The insulators of heat are different from bad conductors .

→ Bad conductors allow little heat to pass through them while insulators do not allow any heat to pass through them .

→ Insulators of electricity similarly behave the same way .

→ On the other hand , good conductors of heat / electricity allow much heat / electric current to pass through them .

→ Metals are good conductors of heat and electricity .

→ Non metals are either poor conductors or insulators.

→ However there may be exceptions in non metals and metals .
