Bonds mean attraction. In molecular chemistry, bonds means attraction of two molecules due to certain factors such as to make the molecule or atom stable.

Ionic bons are the bonds where transfer of electron takes place btween two or more atoms to stabilize them.

Electronic configuration is the systematic representation of electrons which tells us where exactly the electrons is located.

Heya !!

Here is your answer..

● What are ionic bonds ?

It's a type of chemical bond between two atoms with opposite charges.

In this bond, an atom give up their electron or electrons to the other atom.

One atom attains positive charge while the other attains negative charge.

The atom which give electron attains positive charge while the one who takes attains negative charge.

For example, Sodium Chloride is formed by the ionic bonding of Sodium and Chlorine.

Here, Sodim give one of its electron to Chlorine and attains positivity while chlorine becomes negatively charged.

● What is electronic configuration ?

It is a set up of electrons of an atom or molecule.

The electrons are divided into shells which is further more divided into sub shells.

These are the shells - K, L, M, N .

Sub shells are - S, P, D, F

Hope it helps..
