Isotopes are defined as they are the atoms of same element having same atomic number but having different mass number.
● Ex :- Carbon has approx 15 isotopes but have three main isotopes i.e.
▪ C(12)
▪ C(13)
▪ C(14)
It means that Carbon exists in three different weights (Atomic weight) but their atomic number remains same.
