However, unlike usual retailers they do not have a fixed shop or show room where they sit everyday and make their daily sales. They do not have a standard area or place for selling the goods and services. This is why they tend to move their shops. Their moving shops are moved from one place to another with the aim of locating new customers for them.

Another trait of Itinerant retailers is that they sell their goods in small quantities.
